vLite: Make Your Own Custom Windows Vista

Well, it might be an old news for you guys, since I just migrated to vista from windows XP, i still hate some unused components in it. If you know about nLite, then using nLite is not a problem, but if you don’t and still want to slipstream or remove some components, I will put some links that might help you.

Like I mention here about getting a good free webhosting, now I’m going to tell you about a free cool subdomain. Maybe some of you already know about www.co.cc, maybe some of you don’t. This website will give you a cool subdomain such as yourname.co.cc.

Well, it’s better than yourname.blogspot.com or yourname.whateveritis.com, because it’s shorter and it will be easier to remember. There are a lot of advantages using this website’s services. You can modify the MX Records so in case you want to use Google Apps or MSN, you can simply change the MX Records here. It’s not only for building a websites, but also a cool email name.

O yeah, I almost forgot, this website also provide you an URL Forwarding and URL Redirecting. So let say you still want to use your blogger/blogsome/whateveritis but you want your URL to be lesser, you can use either URL Forwarding ot URL Redirecting services, then you get yourself a shorter domain name.

I used it before when I start using wordpress (yeah, i’m quite new in this blogging things), and I’m satisfied with it. So if you’re not so good at using wordpress because your previous CMS is not wordpress, why don’t you give a try before you buy your own top level domain? Well, in this post I want so share some information about free webhosting which is what I think good. The name is 000webhost. This webhosting provides you 350Mb disk spaces and 100Gb bandwidth permonth, dudeit’s huge, and it’s free. The link before is not my aff’s, well I don’t use it anymore. The point of this post is, if you want to start having your own self hosted wordpress but you affraid when you about to buy the webhosting services which is not really cheap, why don’t you try this one first?

Let’s just say you start blogging with blogger, ofcourse some of you will think “oh dude, using wordpress is kinda hard, something is different”. I found some of my friend saying that to me. They also said, what if I already buy a webhosting service but i’m not satisfied with it? Well, I guess you already know my answer now, use the 000webhost, so you can start learning, if you’re not satisfied with the service then you can find your own webhosting service.

Dell Inspiron 1420

Dell Inspiron 1420. I’m a Dell’s lover, I don’t know about you but I bet you love this product also. The product that I’m going to post here is kind of old, like 1 year ago, but nvm, I just want to share my experience.

This is a great offer, available in 8 colors ( I heard now they add some more colors), good specs and fantastic price. That’s why I love Dell. But that’s not only the best part. Here, in Malaysia, Dell provides the best customer service among the other brand’s.

So far, this 1 year, I never have any bad experience from this product, except one thing, my notebook’s fan gone crazy because the heatsing didn’t work properly. Why is that? It’s because there are too many dust inside it (which is my fault, I didn’t notice that and play with my notebook in dirty places). But, with the complete cover warranty, the customer serive come to my place and replace my old fan (which is very dirty) and the heatsing (this is trouble, the dust is like half of my finger!) with a new fan and heatsing.

Damn, it didn’t cost anything. I will never regret taking the complete cover warranty. The services is just beyond my imagination ( I used other brand before and the service is kinda sucks). Well then, I hope Dell will continue doing a good job, specially with the services and prices!

Google Chrome % Bug Fixed

This is just another review about Google Chrome that I knew almost all of you heard about this already. Last time I heard, Google Chrome still have a lot of bugs. One of them is the “% bug“, but google take fast action, just within 1 or 2 days, the bug is already fixed.

Yesterday, September, 7, 2008, Google Chrome v 0.2.149.29 released with less bugs. Now you can enjoy using Google Chrome some more.

Yearly event to welcome the BlogDay is choosing the best blog in International scale. The BoBs (The Best of Blogs) or Deutsche Welle International Weblog Awards 2008. The most interesting things in this competition now is this competition is avalaible for 11 languages; Arabian, Chinese, German, English, Persian, France, Dutch, Portugal, Russian, Spain and Indonesian.

From those blogs, refrees which are performed by independent journalist, bloggers and from media will select 10 nomination from each category competition, and from 27 October 2008 they will open the online vote for each favorite.
